Hard Rock International has announced plans for the new Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Cancun, set to debut in late 2017.

The all-inclusive resort will be set along the shore of the Caribbean, a 15 minute drive from the Cancun International Airport. It will be the third Yucatan Peninsula property in the Hard Rock International portfolio and will have 1,800 guestrooms.

The resort, which will be part of Hard Rock's All-Inclusive Collection, will have six restaurants, ranging from French- to Mexican-inspired cuisine. There will also be five bars and lounges and multiple entertainment venues throughout the property. The hotel also includes plans for an 8-million gallon, multi-acre, lagoon-style swimming pool, complemented by white-sand beaches. Planned excursions include snorkeling and kayaking. There will also be 90,000 square feet of meeting and event space for banquets, themed parties, weddings, concerts and more.

The resort will also offer amenities aimed at family and multigenerational travelers, such as a dedicated kids club, a private teen zone and designated family pool areas. Adults will be able to enjoy exclusive gathering spaces encompassing a nightclub, private pools with outdoor terraces and numerous entertainment offerings.

Additionally, guests will enjoy Hard Rock brand-wide amenities, such as a Rock Spa, and a Rock Shop featuring the brand's merchandise. Guests will also enjoy music-infused offerings, such as The Sound of Your Stay amenity program. Active guests can choose from an array of all-inclusive amenities, including a Hard Rock golf course, a fully equipped Body Rock fitness center, sporting games and nightly entertainment at the multiple indoor and outdoor venues.
