Halloween lovers of all ages will invade the Hawaii Convention Center (HCC) on October 31 as the popular free monthly entertainment series, “Sunset Mele on the Rooftop,” takes on a Halloween twist complete with trick-or-treating, a costume contest and haunted house fun for the entire family.

Oahu residents and visitors are invited to enjoy a full evening of entertainment in a safe and secure environment sponsored by New City Nissan and featuring live performances by 2015 Na Hoku Hanohano music award nominee Aidan James and the group Pineapple Jam beginning at 5:15 p.m. The night will conclude with a special screening of the feature film “Maleficent” in the HCC’s air-conditioned ballroom beginning at 7 p.m.

HCC’s in-house culinary team will be serving up popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and bentos. Additional vendors at the Sunset Mele Market Place will offer snacks, beverages, and beautiful arts and crafts for sale.

The schedule of activities for the evening includes gourmet popcorn and hotdogs, entertainment by Aiden James and Pineapple Jam and a special screening of the film, “Maleficent.”
