Hilton Fort Lauderdale Set for Late Summer Debut

The seaside Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is expected to have its reservation system up by early May and its soft opening by late August or early September. Designed by Kobi Karp with only studios and suites, the 373-unit, all-condo resort will have private chef, beachside and grocery services, as well as the 20,000-square-foot Sunrise Terrace, 10,000 square feet of meeting space, Jacuzzis in every unit and a kids' concierge. The hotel will also call 30 days before clients' arrival to make any necessary arrangements. Family travel for the resort "is going to be huge," says General Manager Andreas Ioannou.
