Hilton Hawaiian Village Names new Restaurant Manager

Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa has named Alfredo Jaramillo the new manager of its beachfront restaurant, Tropics Bar & Grill.

Jaramillo brings more than 25 years of food and beverage experience to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, including five years with Hilton Hotels. Most recently he served as food and beverage manager for the Sweetwater Golf & Country Club in Longwood, Florida. In addition, Jaramillo has had experience with food and beverage operations at resorts in Mexico, Puerto Rico and in Las Vegas at both the Flamingo Hilton and the Las Vegas Hilton.

Jaramillo, who is fluent in Spanish, earned a hotel management degree from Los Angeles Trade College and also attended Cornell University and California College and Management. In addition, he received Maitre D’ Restaurateur Career Recognition from the prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the world’s oldest international gastronomic society.
