Hilton’s Curio Collection to Open First Hotel in Spain

Hilton Worldwide has reached a franchise agreement with Groupo Avintia, which will bring Curio - A Collection by Hilton to the historic center of Ibiza. Gran Hotel Montesol Ibiza is set to open with summer with 33 guestrooms.

The building is recognized as a site of heritage and cultural interest by the Spanish Ministry of Culture. The hotel will keep many of the historical details, including the neoclassical white and yellow façade. Part of the restoration and interior design will be created by Spanish designer Lazaro Rosa Violan.

The hotel will also be convenient for travelers, as it will be only about six miles from Ibiza’s airport. The hotel is also a short distance from some of the most famous night clubs and the best beaches in the city.

The hotel will house a restaurant on its ground floor. It will also have a rooftop terrace that can be used as an exclusive meeting space for business travelers.
