Hilton Worldwide Opens First Hotel in Qatar

Hilton Worldwide's global portfolio has expanded to 80 countries with the opening of the Hilton Doha, the first hotel for both Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Worldwide in Qatar.  

Set on the Corniche in the heart of at the Diplomatic District, 15 minutes from the Doha International Airport, the Hilton Doha has its own private beach, outdoor swimming pool and children's club.

Located near the Doha Exhibition Center, the cultural village of Katara and the Souq Waqif (the 'standing market'), the hotel's 309 guestrooms and suites were strongly influenced by Arabesque design.

The new hotel features six dining venues, including La Sahtaine Brasserie, which offers French cuisine infused with a Mediterranean flair, Asian-Polynesian fusion dishes at Trader Vic's and interactive, live cooking stations at Mawasem.

The Hilton Doha offers a 24-hour business center, seven contemporary meeting rooms, a Grand Ballroom for up to 650 people and the first eforea: spa at Hilton in the Middle East.
