Holland America Releases Details on ms Koningsdam's World Stage

The World StageHolland America Line’s new ms Koningsdam ship will be offering guests a number of onboard entertainment experiences. Along with The Music Walk complex, which will include B.B. King’s Blues Club and the Lincoln Center Stage, a new theater venue, The World Stage, has been designed with such production-enhancing equipment as 270-degree state-of-the-art panoramic LED screens.

The flexible space can have multiple stage configurations, ranging from in-the-round, to the more conventional proscenium staging, and will initially host five new productions performed in repertory by a cast sourced from around the world.

The special screens, lighting, projection and sound systems will allow the theater to transform into whatever staging the designers have envisioned for the production.
