Honolulu Zoo Announces Concert Series

The “Wildest Show in Town” summer concert series will return to the Honolulu Zoo on Wednesday, June 8. The series is ideal for families, with admission at $3.00 per person (and the profits benefit the Honolulu Zoo Society’s conservation education programs).

Musicians will perform from the zoo’s Main Stage every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for 10 weeks through August 10. John Cruz launches the series on June 8, at 6:00 p.m. Gates open at 4:35 p.m., and families can access the park while they wait for the music. (For example, they can visit the animals until the back of the Zoo closes at 5:30 p.m.) They can also bring their own picnic or take advantage of the food offered by the Zoo’s concessionaire “Taste of the Wild” catering. (No alcohol or high back chairs, of course.)
