Travel Agent was pleased to hear some good news coming out of Bangkok. InterContinental Hotels Group will be opening its first Hotel Indigo in Southeast Asia in the Thai capitol. Following the violence earlier this year, this is a good sign that the city is on the road to recovery from a tourism standpoint.

The Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road
will open in a prime district of Bangkok by the end of 2012 and will be home to upscale residences, restaurants and entertainment.

The 188-room hotel will include a specialty restaurant and bar, business center, meeting facilities, pool, gym, health club and spa.
