Hotels & Airlines Continue to Expand; Offer Deals

Almost in direct defiance to the economy, hotels and airlines keep expanding to bring new customers in and keep people traveling. Delta Air Lines is offering several new European routes; a Raffles property is opening in Greece; and the Hotel Missoni Edinburgh has opened in Scotland. There are more ways to get to Europe and more places to stay there—and the dollar is still a great value against the pound and the Euro, making this summer an ideal time to get your clients across the pond.

If you need some hooks to grab your clients’ interest, the most recent issue of Travel Agent focuses on deals, and how suppliers are working to keep travelers moving in a down economy. Some are cutting prices. Others are increasing value. Check out TravelAgentCentral.com for in-depth information on these deals, and for some ideas of how to inspire your clients to take that trip they’ve always wanted.
