Iberia Announces Flights Impacted by Strike

A strike by the SEPLA pilots union flying for Iberia Airlines will impact flights for January 25, 27 and 30. The airline has posted information about which flights will be affected, and will provide alternative transportation for passengers booked on these flights.

According to the airline's website, passengers holding Iberia form tickets (IB075) for any flight operated by Iberia on the days of the strike may ask for a date change without incurring a penalty (even if the fare does not normally allow it) up to February 30. This does not apply to flights with codes IB4XXX, IB5XXX, IB7XXX or IB8XXX, which are operated by other airlines. The change must be requested by phone. Passengers and agents can call 1-800-772-4642 to speak with a reservations specialist.
