IHG Opens Eighth Indigo

InterContinental Hotel Group has opened its eighth Indigo hotel, in Ottawa—the brand's first property in Canada. Jim Anhut, IHG's senior vice president of brand development for the Americas, said Ottawa was a perfect place for the boutique-minded, select-service brand due to its mixture of business and leisure. There are nearly 20 Indigo properties still in the development pipeline.
