IHG has announced plans for two new hotels in Mexico: The Holiday Inn Express Mazatlán Marina hotel and Holiday Inn Resort Mazatlán, both expected to open in late 2016.
The oceanfront Holiday Inn Resort Mazatlán hotel will be located on Playa Gaviotas 220 in the trendy Golden Zone district, an upscale area of the city with hotels, fine dining and nightlife. The resort will have 150 guestrooms and amenities including an outdoor swimming pool with water games, a fitness center, two meeting rooms, a restaurant, a lobby bar and parking. The property will also be in close proximity to several golf courses.
The 124-room Holiday Inn Express Mazatlán Marina hotel will be located on 2207 Marina Avenue, less than a mile from the Golden Zone district, five miles from the marina and 12 miles from the General Buelna International Airport. The property will be part of a mixed-use development with a shopping center, apartments and restaurants.
