InterContinental Enters Koh Samui

InterContinental Hotels Group is bringing its name to Koh Samui, Thailand. The company will take over the management of Baan Taling Ngam Resort & Spa and transform it to InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort, which is slated to debut December 1.

The 79-room property will undergo a $15 million renovation and upgrade. The resort sits on a cliff overlooking the Taling Ngam coast.

This will be InterContinental's second Thai resort.
