InterContinental to Open Luxury Property in Fiji

The InterContinental Hotels and Resorts Group plans to open a luxury property in Fiji in mid-2009. The 275-room Intercontinental Resort Fiji will be located at Natadola Bay about 40 minutes drive from Nadi International Airport. Proposed facilities include an 18–hole golf course designed by Vijay Singh, beachside rooms, garden-view rooms and hilltop villas with plunge pools. Other features include separate adult and children swimming pools, extensive meeting facilities, specialty restaurants, a club lounge and a free standing spa.
