Interjet Begins Daily Nonstop Flights Between New York and Mexico City

airplaneInterjet has begun daily nonstop service between New York’s JFK International Airport and Mexico City.

The service departs JFK at 7:25 a.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Retrun flights leave Mexico City at 4:40 p.m., arriving at JFK at 10:30 p.m.

To celebrate the new service, Interjet is offering roundtrip fares starting from $349 through August 31, 2012. This fare includes two suitcases of up to 55 lbs. each.

New York is Interjet’s third U.S. gateway city, following Miami and San Antonio. Interjet is Mexico’s second-largest carrier, and it also flies to Guatemala, Havana and San Jose, Costa Rica.
