JNTO Launches "Affordable Japan" Campaign

The Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) has teamed with tour operators on a new campaign to address the perception of the cost of a Japan trip. "Affordable Japan," launched under the auspices of the ongoing Visit Japan Campaign, will include ads touting tour packages and a new section about budget travel tips and links that will go live at the JNTO web site on September 27. The campaign also will highlight savings that are available to international travelers who make the necessary arrangements before arriving in Japan, including the Japan Rail Pass for use of the JR network, and inexpensive flights within Japan on JAL and ANA.
