Join Tribewanted on the Fijian Island of Vorovoro

Tribewanted offers international travelers the opportunity to live on a remote Fijian island as part of a genuine tribe. Guests come to live and work alongside the local community on the Island of Vorovoro, based in the North of Vanua Levu, near the scenic town of Labasa.

The aim of the project is to create a sustainable village by utilizing natural resources such as rainwater and wind to connect to electricity, as well as catching fish and growing and harvesting vegetables. Guests are offered the opportunity to get involved with village life activities including gardening, building projects, cooking and fishing, however they are also free to simply come to relax, hike around the island, sunbath or snorkel. A maximum of 30 guests stay on the island, so availability is limited. The price is $600 for seven nights, this includes airport pickups, five meals a day, and accommodation is shared in local bures and vales on the island. Tribewanted pays agents 10 percent commission.
