JW Marriott Luxury Hotel Brand to Open New Property in Colombia

Marriott International’s luxury hotel brand, JW Marriott, plans to open 10 properties in five countries this year, including the 264-room JW Marriott Hotel Bogota in Colombia.

Scheduled to open in mid-July, this luxurious hotel will be located in the heart of the city’s financial district. For dining and entertainment, it will have three distinctive restaurants with terrace seating, an inviting lounge and a rooftop bar and lounge.

Recreational amenities will include a rooftop swimming pool and a fitness center. For conferences and social events, the hotel will have 850 square meters of function space.

Once all 10 properties are completed, this will bring the total global portfolio of the brand to 54 hotels and resorts and 24,000 rooms. This growth represents an investment exceeding $2 billion by JW Marriott property owners and franchisees.
