La Paz Develops New Properties

Six new properties are under construction in La Paz, Mexico, which will add 650 new hotel rooms within the next 10 months.

Among them is the Hyatt Place, opening in the Spring 2014. The 151-room Hyatt Place will have views over the Sea of Cortez and the Marina CostaBaja. Guests will have amenities such as free Wi-Fi, ample meeting space and affordable room rates. 

The new Hyatt will be next to the five-star, 550-acre CostaBaja resort complex, with a Gary Player 18-hole golf course, a 250-slip marina and a private beach club on the Sea of Cortez .Restaurants include Azul Marino, located on the Marina Costa Baja, and Steinbecks, inspired by the author who wrote The Pearl while in La Paz.
