Le Meridien Expands in Russia

Le Meridien is adding its third hotel in Russia—Le Meridien St. Petersburg. The chain has taken over management of the former North Crown Hotel and will open in 2008 after extensive renovation. The hotel will feature 322 rooms, two restaurants, a 14,000-square-foot spa, indoor pool and riverboat service along the Neva River. Le Meridien also operates two properties in Moscow: Le Royal Meridien National and Le Meridien Moscow Country Club.
