Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach Resort, Kerala Opens Divya Spa

The deluxe five-star Leela Kempinski Kovalam Beach, Kerala on the Arabian Sea coast in southwest India has announced the opening of the 8,000-square-foot Divya Spa and Ayurvedic Center. The spa, which has panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, offers a signature treatment called Shirodhora, where warm oil is drizzled from a copper pot on the guest's ajna chakra, or third eye, that is believed to give a direct connection to the soul and serve as the gateway to inner realms of higher consciousness. The resort is offering a range of packages. All packages include beachview deluxe rooms with double occupancy, one-on-one consultations with on-staff ayurvedic doctors, herbal medicines for the duration of the program and a daily 75-minute therapeutic ayurvedic massage.
