London Hotel Promotes Restaurants

The Strand Palace Hotel in London’s West End is to launch two standalone websites for its two restaurants Johnston’s Brasserie and Strand Carvery, both of which will sit under the umbrella site

The websites, and are designed to highlight the eateries as restaurants in their own right. It will also feature real-time reservation system Livebookings, to enable diners to check availability and book tables, as well as receive instant confirmation. To celebrate the launch, Strand Palace Hotel will offer a free glass of Prosecco to diners who make a reservation via the new restaurant websites from September 27 until October 8.

“As much as 60 percent of the population research or book restaurants online, and prior to the launch of our new standalone websites, we were potentially missing out on this market,” David MacRae, general manager for Strand Palace Hotel, explained. “We’re also excited about our Livebooking system and will be expanding upon our social media presence for our restaurants by giving them individual Facebook fan pages and a joint Twitter presence where we will offer discounts and offers.”
