London Hotel Wins Hospitality Award

The Goring was one of the big winners at the recent Catey Awards, picking up the Hotel of the Year - Independent award at the hospitality industry awards in London.

This is the second major award The Goring has won this year. In April it was named "Hotel of the Year" by Pride of Britain Hotels, a collection of privately owned hotels.

The Goring was opened by Otto Goring in 1910. As its centenary approaches, it is now the only five-star hotel in London that is owned and run by the family that built it. Jeremy Goring, Otto Goring’s great-grandson, is the fourth Goring to run The Goring. The interiors have recently been refurbished by such designers as Tim Gosling, Nina Campbell and Russell Sage.
