Los Cabos' El Ganzo Attracts the Young at Heart

Looking for the next hotspot in Mexico for Millennials and the young at heart? We think we found it. Last week Travel Agent sat down with El Ganzo, a luxury resort in Porto Los Cabos. We met with Business Development Director Ines Munoz de Baena who brought us up to speed on what is sure to be a new coastal hotspot.

The 72-room hotel, which overlooks the water, is meant for a younger, affluent crowd who enjoy an energetic nightlife and all the amenities of a five-star resort. But what sets El Ganzo apart from other luxury properties in the region is its dedication to the arts. In fact, the resort has its own recording studio in the basement, and hosts musicians who perform for guests on Saturday nights. Artists are also welcome to the resort and in exchange for a stay are asked to create a piece specifically for the hotel inspired by their stay. Filmmakers? They have a sweet deal, as well. They are invited to stay at the resort and in exchange are asked to create videos that are inspired on their visit.

In addition to its cultural flare, El Ganzo has all the luxury trimmings as well, from a spa with five treatment rooms, to a rooftop sushi restaurant, a beach club (with one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo), adventure programs, golf and destination wedding offerings.
