Luxury Tanjung Sanctuary Resort to Open in Langkawi, Malaysia

Tanjung Sanctuary Resort will reopen in the first half of 2009 after completing a total refurbishment. The luxury 16-villa boutique resort is on Langkawi Island in northwest peninsular Malaysia. The resort’s 32 rooms provide views of the forest, beach or headland. All units include a large balcony, in-room dining table and a large bathroom with Japanese-style bath.

The resort has its own spa with ocean views. Tanjung Sanctuary's showpiece restaurant, The Point, sits over rocks on the coast. Langkawi has direct scheduled flight connections with Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Penang. For more information email [email protected].
