Lynyrd Skynyrd rocked the house at the opening of the Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer at Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on December 8.
Lynyrd Skynyrd BBQ & Beer serves meat and more... meat: pork and beef ribs, brisket, chicken and signature "regular" and jalapeno cheese sausage. The meal is served in the "weigh and pay" style with many sides such as cheddar cheese grit fries, hush puppies, mom's baked beans, corn succotash, cole slaw, potato salad, white chocolate bread, pudding served with Jack Daniel's caramel sauce, Blue Bell ice cream, and seasonal cobbler. The menu was developed in partnership with Kreuz Market, a 111-year-old Lockhart, TX, institution consistently named the best BBQ in the country.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, the new 8,000-square-foot restaurant and bar transforms into a high-energy rock club every night. Hot bartenders and servers encourage guests to have a great time, leading sing-alongs to classic rock songs.
The venue captured the mood of the band’s “Hell House” with 150-year barnyard wood, concrete floors and brick walls.
