The Malta Tourism Authority, Cyprus Tourism Organization and Emirates Airlines announced this week that the three would be putting together a committee to explore cooperative tourism ventures in the future, the Malta Independent reported. The committee will hold its first meeting in Malta on March 20 with the aim of creating a plan to promote Malta, Cyprus and Dubai jointly, as well as destinations in themselves. The newspaper reported that it is expected that the two Mediterranean island states will work together to promote the entire region.
