Foodies in Maui won't want to miss this! The Kapalua Wine and Food Festival is the longest-running culinary celebration in Hawaii, and its 29th edition begins this week at the Kapalua Resort.
Starting on June 24, the Festival explores some exciting trends in the gastronomic world. Festival Host, Master Sommelier Fred Dame, has brought together some acclaimed winemakers, top Master Sommeliers, celebrated chefs and industry insiders for a long-weekend of daily culinary exhibitions, interactive wine tastings and evening gala events. Festival Chef DK Kodama (Owner of DK Restaurants) will also offer cooking classes of his unique fusion style.
Packages are available that include multi-day passes to the festival and accommodations at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. The two-day package includes two passes to The Grand Tasting and the Kapalua Seafood Festival, plus breakfast buffet daily for two people. Prices begin at $750 for a three-night minimum.
