The Mekong Tourism Office has established an office in North America and has selected industry veteran John Semone to serve as regional director. The formation of the office, located in San Rafael, CA, is designed to boost the presence of the Mekong Tourism Office in North America and to heighten awareness of the six destinations that comprise the Greater Mekong sub region-Cambodia, Yunnan Guangxi in China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
