Wyndham Hotel Group announced Wednesday an agreement to develop a Wingate by Wyndham hotel in Chihuahua, Mexico, which will become the brand's first property outside of the U.S. and Canada when it opens later this year. Only 20 minutes from the Chihuahua International Airport, the 137-room property will be near one of the city's premier shopping, nightlife and dining areas. It will feature 1,200 square feet of meeting space, 24-hour fitness and business centers, an outdoor-heated pool, whirlpool spa and all of the brand's signature amenities.
