MGM Grand Macau Announces Enhancements

The owners of the MGM Grand Macau, now under construction in Macau, have announced project enhancements as well as the securing of $700 million in project financing. The hotel-casino resort is equally owned and will be jointly operated by MGM Mirage and Pansy Ho Chiu-king. The property, slated to open in the second half of 2007, will feature about 600 rooms, suites and villas. Enhancements include more room in the casino and the hotel atrium (three times the size of Bellagio's conservatory), plus a premier entertainment venue. Even with these additions, the resort still has more than 70,000 square feet maintained for future casino expansion.
