Movenpick Joining Sentosa Island Project in Singapore

Movenpick Hotels & Resorts will manage a hotel within Singapore's new Sentosa Island mixed-use resort. The new hotel, the Movenpick Treasure Resort Sentosa, is scheduled to open at the end of 2008 with 186 rooms and suites. It will occupy a colonial-style building dating from about 1940 that will be restored, as well as new construction. Movenpick sees this latest agreement as another major step in its expansion in Asia.
