Myrtle Beach Gears Up for Luxury Accommodation

mb205

Myrtle Beach has long been known as a destination for families and golfers. Travel Agent learned about the area's new developments when representatives for the destination stopped by our New York offices. The most recent news to come out of Myrtle Beach in the past year is probably the opening of the Hard Rock Park last year, which has changed hands since the opening and will probably be renamed.

One of the most interesting things we learned about the destination, however, is the opening of North Beach Plantation this May. A 60-acre luxury residential resort in North Myrtle Beach, the area will boast 750 oceanfront condominiums, townhouses and single family homes and include upscale boutique shopping and gourmet dining. A neat spin on the spa experience, the development's Cinzia Spa and Wellness Center, which will open in April, is said to have an international theme. A guest of the spa could have a massage one day in a Figi-themed area and a treatment the following day with an Italian theme.
