New Health Resort to Open in Maui

Here's a new destination for your health-conscious clients: SoulSpace Sanctuary, a new Maui retreat, is scheduled to open on November 11.

The six-acre gated compound on Maui's North Shore, two miles above Paia, was originally built in 1909, and consists of five restored historic buildings. The retreat has 28 guest rooms, suites and bungalows, and offers a distinct escape from the outside world: None of the rooms have TVs, but Wi-Fi is available throughout on a complimentary basis.

Built on the slopes of Haleakala, five minutes to the best beaches on the North Shore, SoulSpace offers healthy and soothing activities like sunrise and sunset meditations. The property also has its own organic garden, which supplies food to the farm-to-table kitchen.

Popular nearby ocean activities include surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing - and the iconic Hawaiian sport, paddle boarding.
