After much anticipation, the new Boca Chica resort in Acapulco has finally opened its doors. Travel Agent first told you about this 36-room resort back in December.
The newest project from Grupo HABITA and architect Fernando Romero officially opened on March 15. The building was formerly the famous Hotel Boca Chica, the 1950’s playground of the Hollywood elite.
Carlos Couturier and brothers Rafael, Moisés and Jaime Micha, founders of Grupo HABITA, have restored the 1950's interior, creating a hotel with vintage charm and a chic contemporary design.
The hotel is just steps away from an idyllic cove in Acapulco and is complete with an in-house disco and pool terrace. Ground floor rooms come with landscaped gardens while the other rooms come with balconies and open air terraces with hammocks.
