New Hotel Opens in Moscow's Business District

Renaissance Hotels has recently opened the 366-room Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre under a franchise agreement with Interstate Hotels & Resorts. The second Renaissance property located in Moscow, this hotel offers the city’s largest single area conference and convention facility. We hear three more Renaissance properties will open in Europe in London, Amsterdam and Budapest by 2012.

The hotel is located in the heart of Moscow’s commercial district and in close proximity to the city’s EXPO center, and is part of a mixed-use development including a four level shopping mall.

In celebration of its opening, the Renaissance Moscow Monarch Centre is offering an introductory package for $222  per night through September 1.

Some nice touches: The hotel’s bi-level executive lounge has  panoramic views of the city and a terrace where travelers can enjoy cocktails. The hotel’s all-day restaurant Mozaic features a mix of international and Russian specialties including borsch and Sibirskaya Korona Classic beer. The Allegro Lobby Bar & Lounge, meanwhile, has a wide selection of creative cocktails, loose teas and dining options, and the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant Premier offers innovative fusion cuisine.
