As of last week, the privately held airline now offers non-stop, round trip service from Los Angeles International (LAX) to Loreto. Meals will be offered in both its First Class and Comfort Class aboard Cal Jet’s Boeing 737-400 fleet.
The departure time of 2 p.m. also allows easy transfers with enough time for those connecting in to Los Angeles from other feeder cities throughout the West Coast up through Canada, plus Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
The first three flights offer incredibly low introductory pricing. Rates for roundtrip airfare from LAX-Islands of Loreto (LTO) -LAX have been set as follows:
On April 21, 28 and May 5, travelers will get a “Special Introductory Price” of $399 for Comfort Class and $599 first class (plus fees and taxes), with a reduction of $100 for the additional person.
For May 12 on, travelers will get the “Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto Grand Opening Price” of $499 for Comfort and $699 First Class (plus fees and taxes).
The flights, which are on Saturdays, leave Los Angeles at 2 p.m. and arrive in Loreto by 5:15 p.m. while return flights leave Loreto at 6:15 p.m. and arrive back in Los Angeles at 7:15 p.m.
