New Observation Tower in Grand Cayman to Open in October

The Camana Bay Observation Tower opens to the public this October, providing visitors with a bird’s eye view of Grand Cayman. Standing 75 feet tall and free to the public, the Observation Tower has 360-degree views across Seven Mile Beach, George Town, the North Sound and beyond.

Just as impressive as the tower’s outlook is the journey to the top via a double helix staircase (two spirals that interweave but never touch). The staircase climbs alongside a floor to ceiling mosaic depicting Cayman’s reefs and marine life. The mosaic is constructed of countless tiles in 114 different colors and is one of the largest undersea mosaic installations in the world.

As the highest point on island, the Observation Tower offers yet another reason to visit Camana Bay, a new community in Grand Cayman anchored by a $400 million dollar Town Centre.
