New Spa to Open in English Country House Hotel

A 22,000-square-foot spa called The Herb House is set to open in October at the Lime Wood hotel in the New Forest National Park, 1.5 miles from the small town of Lyndhurst and a 90-minute drive from London.

Working with Irish seaweed spa brand Voya and natural skincare brand NUDE, spa treatments will be offered from farming company Daylesford Organic’s beauty range Bamford. The Herb House will be the first to offer these organic spa treatments outside of Daylesford’s own facility, The Hay Barn.

The spa will have 10 treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool and glass-walled saunas.

The hotel itself is a renovated Regency country house built on the site of a 13th century hunting lodge. Guests can choose from 14 bedrooms and 15 suites, some of which have fireplaces or wood-burning stoves.
