New Wellness Retreats Now Offered at Waldorf Astoria’s El Conquistador Resort & Las Casitas Village in Puerto Rico

High above the Atlantic Ocean on a 300-foot cliff, wellness seekers can now book new wellness retreats inspired by nature’s four elements in a Caribbean setting at El Conquistador Resort & Las Casitas Village, Waldorf Astoria Resorts in Puerto Rico

From hiking and zip lining the nearby El Yunque Rainforest to twilight yoga, beach boot camp and spa treatments, the back-to-nature programs use the resort’s 100-acre private Palomino Island, pools, local attractions, outdoor labyrinth and indoor studio for their daily element specific classes and activities. 

Upon arrival, participants receive a physical assessment and evaluation with body fat analysis before taking part in a variety of classes and activities throughout the three-night, four-day retreats. During the “Earth” retreat, participants enjoy a twilight yoga class, a hike in the El Yunque Rainforest, a mountain trek on Palomino Island, a raw foods “Lunch & Learn” and an 80-minute rainforest hot stone massage.

Those who opt for the “Fire” retreat enjoy a biobay tour through luminescent waters, beach boot camp on Palomino Island, extreme nature hike, cooking with spices “Lunch & Learn” and 75-minute hot Thai poultice massage. In the “Water” retreat, participants discover starlight labyrinth meditation, a snorkeling trip, an aqua parkour fitness class, juicing “Lunch & Learn” and a Bano de Oro spa treatment, which consists of an exfoliation, wrap and mineral bath. Lastly, the “Air” retreat includes starlight labyrinth meditation, zip lining at El Yunque Rainforest, a beach boot camp at Palomino Island, farm to table “Lunch & Learn” and tropical bliss scrub and massage.

All retreats include accommodations; roundtrip airport transfers; daily nutritionally balanced meals; activities; one spa service; fitness classes; access to resort amenities; access to amenities at the Waldorf Astoria Spa, which includes eucalyptus saunas, waterfall Jacuzzis, an Organic Tea lounge, daily exercises class and a fitness center; 20 percent off additional spa services or at the spa boutique; and a personalized fitness plan to take home.
