The Travel Group's José M. Barreiro met Ambassador Lapologang Lekoa of Botswana Thursday at the Botswana Tourism Board and HBO preview party for the “No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency” at HBO headquarters in New York. The series, based on the best-selling novels of Alexander McCall Smith, is set in Botswana and has become the country’s greatest tourism promotion by headlining Botswana’s natural beauty, amazing wildlife and gracious people. It premieres March 29.

“As Africans, we are proud about the positive image of Africa a series like the 'No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency' portrays to a wide international audience," said Ambassador Lekoa. "We are encouraged by the increased arrivals to Botswana from the U.S. market and look forward to the support of the travel professional community.”
