North Korea's Arirang Performance Cancelled

North Korea has canceled this fall's Arirang, a nightly gymnastics and artistic performance presented by 100,000 participants. News reports attribute the government's decision to the after-effects of flooding. In tandem with the staging of Arirang, North Korea was temporarily permitting Americans to receive visas; that permission has been canceled, as well.
