Oahu Beaches Reopen

The Hawaii state Department of Health has reopened a number of Oahu beaches, including all of the beaches in Waikiki. Specific beaches on the islands of Oahu and Kauai were closed temporarily because of water-quality concerns in the wake of recent stormy weather. The department is conducting daily testing and has been reopening beaches as results warrant. Visit [www.travelsmarthawaii.com] or [www.hawaii.gov/health].
