ONSITE: Grand Isle Resort & Spa Unveils $5.4 Million Penthouse

Emerald Bay, Bahamas--Travel Agent was just on site for the unveiling of Grand Isle Resort & Spa's $5.4 million Master Grand Penthouse, which sits on the highest point of Emerald Bay in the Bahamas. Tourism and government officials were present for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, which toured the 4,000-square-foot suite at the resort, one of two penthouses the property plans to have. It has four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and a media room. The outdoor balcony offers views of the ocean, Great Exuma and the back nine of the golf course. In peak season, the room rates are about $6,000 per night. Grand Isle Resort, which opened four years ago, is a community of 78 luxury ocean and golf course villas located within the 500-acre Emerald Bay Resort. Grand Isle Resort & Spa is 13 acres.
