Onsite: SuperClubs to Open in Panama and Brazil

NEGRIL, JAMAICA -- Travel Agent was on site this week for the 30th anniversary celebration of SuperClubs at which SuperClubs Executive Chairman John Issa announced plans to enter Panama's tourism market with a 300-room Breezes resort near Playa Blanca and to build a Breezes in Rio. SuperClubs, a popular Jamaica-based all-inclusive resort company, signed a 10-year contract with developers Sunstar Hotel & Development SA to build the Panama hotel along the country's southern Pacific coast beaches. It will be in the luxury coastal community of Bijao with groundbreaking expected to take place in 2007. The resort is slated to open in mid-2008 and will feature both a spa and a casino.
