Dan Wacksman, senior vice president of Integrated Marketing for Outrigger Enterprises Group recently welcomed Sheila Bernardo to Outrigger as project manager - Interactive Commerce.
Bernardo is no stranger to Outrigger, as she has been serving as a consultant for the Interactive Commerce team on the recent redesign of the company’s website, Outrigger.com
Prior to joining Outrigger, Bernardo worked with companies such as, MasterCard International and Sony Electronics Inc. As an interactive project manager for MasterCard, Bernardo worked on the award winning “Priceless” advertising campaign. In 2006, she helped launch one of the first user-generated content marketing programs to support interactive brand-building objectives and activities, resulting in nearly 100,000 user submissions.
As a senior web producer for Sony Electronics Inc., Ms. Bernardo executed the renovation of the company’s online product support content for portable audio devices and refreshed their existing music club email newsletter to align better with the larger communications strategy. She received several awards for her hard work and dedication with Sony, including the Fiscal Year 2003 4th Quarter Award for cost savings.
Bernardo received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 1996 from the University of Texas.
