Outrigger Renews Commitment to Australia with New Resort

Outrigger Enterprises Group has announced it will manage the Viridian Resort & Spa. The 192-unit resort condominium is currently under construction in the resort town of Noosa, located along Australia's Sunshine Coast in the eastern state of Queensland. When it opens in 2009, the property - which has a price tag of $255 million - will be branded the Outrigger Viridian Resort & Spa. The property will have 11 buildings grouped around the resort's leisure facilities that will include two swimming pools, a mini theater, poolside dining, bar, restaurant, gym/sauna, day spa and the largest conference facilities in the region. This represents a return to Australia for Outrigger; five months ago the company sold their interest in the former Outrigger-managed properties in Australia and New Zealand.
