The Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is undergoing renovations from March 1 to June 30, 2012.

The improvements will include a new pool and pool deck, enhanced soundproofing between rooms, new hard and soft goods in guestrooms, new in-room safes and electronic door locks and clear glass lanai railings on oceanfront rooms for improved views.

Renovations will run between 900 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and will involve varying levels of noise. During work on the pool, the resort suggests guests check out the pool at either the Holiday Inn Resort Waikiki Beach or Outrigger Reef on the Beach. Work on guest rooms will proceed a few floors at a time, and guests will not have access to floors undergoing renovation.

The resort is offering special renovation rates during this period, starting at $159 per night for a city-view room. Special breakfast renovation packages are available as well.

For agents with existing client reservations at Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach who would prefer to move, the resort notes there is space available at the Outrigger Reef on the Beach.
