A little Caribbean news managed to sneak its way into the Mexico trade show Tianguis Turistico. During the show, Gabriel Monroy, a sales manager for Palace Resorts, told us about the expected opening of a new Punta Cana, Dominican Republic property.
The Moon Palace, Punta Cana will have 1,700 rooms and a casino, and is expected to draw families. The property is slated to open by November 15, but that sounds like wishful thinking to Travel Agent since groundbreaking has not begun yet.
